Bucket Control Group

(1) Lift cylinders (two).

(2) Tilt cylinder.

(3) Lift arm assembly.

(4) Lever.

(5) Link.

(6) Bucket.

The bucket control group provides a way to control the operation of bucket (6) .

The group is made up of two lift cylinders (1), one tilt cylinder (2), lift arm assembly (3), lever (4), and link (5) .

The placement of link (5) in the lift arm assembly is known as Z-bar linkage. The "Z" is formed by the tilt cylinder, the lever, and the link.

Tilt cylinder (2), lift cylinders (1), and lift arm assembly (3) are fastened to the loader frame by pins.

When pressure oil is sent to the head end of lift cylinders (1), lift arm assembly (3) is raised. When pressure oil flows to the rod end of lift cylinders, the lift arm assembly is lowered.

The bucket tilts back when pressure oil is sent to the head end of tilt cylinder (2). The bucket dumps when pressure oil flows to the rod end of the tilt cylinder.

Bucket Positioner Mechanism (Tilt Kickout)

Bucket Positioner Mechanism

(1) Bolts.

(2) Screw.

(3) Switch assembly.

(4) Magnet.

The bucket positioner mechanism automatically moves the tilt control valve spool and the lever from the TILT BACK detent position to the HOLD position, when the bucket gets to the desired digging angle.

The bucket positioner mechanism consists of the following items:

  • bolts (1)

  • screw (2)

  • switch assembly (3)

  • magnet (4)

Dimension "A" is the distance between switch assembly (3) and magnet (4). Dimension "A" should be 10 ± 2 mm (0.39 ± 0.08 inch).

Movement of the lever to the HOLD position stops the movement of the bucket at the correct digging angle.

Consult Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7115 for additional information.

Lift Kickout Mechanism

Lift Kickout Mechanism

The lift kickout mechanism automatically moves the lift control valve spool and the lever from the RAISE detent position to the HOLD position, when the bucket gets to the desired dump height.

The lift kickout mechanism consists of a magnet, a magnet clamp, and a switch assembly. There are two bolts in the magnet clamp. The magnet should be aligned with the switch assembly.

Movement of the lever to the HOLD position stops the movement of the lift arm assembly at the correct dump height.

Consult Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7115 for additional information.
