(1) Torque for six bolts (retainer to support) ... 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft)

(2) Torque for ten bolts (support to carrier) ... 120 ± 15 N·m (90 ± 11 lb ft)

(3) Torque for twelve bolts (sleeve to impeller flange) ... 120 ± 15 N·m (90 ± 11 lb ft)

(4) Clearance between the stator and the turbine

Clearance across new diameters (diametral clearance) ... 1.25 ± 0.26 mm (.049 ± .010 inch)
Maximum permissible clearance across diameter ... 1.81 mm (.071 inch)

(5) Torque for six bolts (retainer to housing) ... 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft)

(6) Torque for bolt (flange to shaft) ... 240 ± 25 N·m (175 ± 18 lb ft)

(7) Outside diameter of the new shaft in the bearing area ... 72.726 ± 0.015 mm (2.8632 ± .0006 inch)

Inside diameter of new bearings ... 72.878 ± 0.065 mm (2.8692 ± .0026 inch)

(9) Clearance between new plate and wear sleeve (no adjustment) ... 0.65 ± 0.44 mm (.026 ± .017 inch)

Note: You must lift the converter and you must hold the converter with support (8) in order to check this clearance.

(10) Torque for 24 bolts (flange assembly to housing) ... 135 ± 15 N·m (100 ± 11 lb ft)

(11) Clearance between stator and impeller

Clearance across new diameters (diametral clearance) ... 0.82 ± 0.50 mm (.032 ± .020 inch)
Maximum permissible clearance across diameter ... 1.80 mm (.071 inch)

(12) Torque for nut (turbine hub to flange assembly) ... 985 ± 35 N·m (726 ± 26 lb ft)

Note: Lubricate the surface of the lock plate with oil and lubricate the threads with oil before you tighten the nut.

(13) Torque for 20 bolts (turbine to hub assembly) ... 120 ± 15 N·m (90 ± 11 lb ft)
