Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install the O-ring seals. Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
- Use Tooling (A) to install cartridge assembly (6) on the unit injector hydraulic pump. Tighten cartridge assembly (6) to a torque of 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft).

- Install coil assembly (4), spacer (5), and nut (3) on cartridge assembly (6). Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 5.5 ± 1.5 N·m (49 ± 13 lb in).
- Connect harness assembly (2) to injection actuation pressure control valve (1) .
