Inching (Fine Control Operation)
The winch control valve is inside the winch case. The winch control valve can be adjusted in order to suit the needs of the operator. A two-position sequence valve is contained within the winch control valve group. This valve provides the no inch position for general control and for fine line control. Only use the inching position when you need fine control of the operation.
The load may slip when the winch is operated in the no inch position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Winch Adjustments" .
All winches are set at the no inch position when the machine is shipped from the factory.
