  1. Rotate the plate (3) until the slot (1) in the plate (7) engages the tang on the plate (5). The ring (8) will engage the ripper control (6) .

  1. Rotate the plate (3) until the plate (3) engages the slot (4) in the plate (5) .

  1. The hole (2) in the plate (3) and the hole (2) in the plate (7) will accommodate a 5P-8501 Padlock .

Raise (1) - Pull the lever to the left in order to raise the ripper. Release the lever. The lever will return to the HOLD position.


Hold (2) - Release the lever. The lever will return to HOLD position. Ripper movement stops.


Lower (3) - Push the lever to the right in order to lower the ripper. Release the lever. The lever will return to the HOLD position.


Shank In (4) - Move the lever forward in order to move the shank in closer to the machine. Release the lever. The lever will return to HOLD position.


Shank Out (5) - Move the lever rearward in order to move the shank out away from the machine. Release the lever. The lever will return to HOLD position.
