Stopping the Machine

Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the tracks securely. Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists. |
- Apply the service brakes in order to stop the machine.
- Move the transmission control to NEUTRAL.

- Engage the parking brake switch.

- Lower the dozer blade and lower all of the attachments to the ground. Apply slight downward pressure.
- Engage the restraints for the attachment control lever.
