Usage:
A 6T6510 Spacer and a 7T487 Guide Assembly are now available from the parts department as a replacement for the former 7G2417 Guide Assembly. Installation of the new guide assembly and spacer in the recoil spring assembly will increase the preload and help keep the sprocket from jumping on the track.
NOTE: A 6T6510 Spacer and a 7T487 Guide Assembly to increase the recoil spring preload should only be used with a 7G5736 Front Track Roller Frame Assembly.

To decrease the possibility of injury before performing this modification, inspect the front track roller frame for cracks. See Special Instruction Form SMHS8273 for inspection, removal and repair procedure. |

(1) Install 6T6510 Spacer (1) and 7T487 Guide Assembly (2) at the locations shown above.
