NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8374" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Rework Procedure
621E, 623E, And 627E Wheel Tractor Scrapers
1. Refer to the Service Manual. Disconnect the 7I4601 Hose (Illustration 1 - Item 1) from the bottom of the cushion hitch accumulator (Illustration 1 - Item 2).
2. Install a lifting eye to the top of the accumulator and secure with boom truck. Remove the 9U1478 Clamp (Illustration 1 - Item 3) and the hardware that secures the accumulator to the 8W9146 Bracket (Illustration 1 - Item 4) remove the accumulator from the machine and set aside.
3. Drill 2 13.8 holes in the 8W9146 Support Assembly (Illustration 2 - Item 1) using the dimensions in Illustration 2.
4. Reinstall the accumulator (Illustration 3 - Item 1) to the 8W9146 Support Assembly using the hardware (Illustration 3 - Item 2) previously removed.
5. Install 2 1230562 (Illustration 3 - Item 3) to the accumulator and secure to the 8W9146 (Illustration 3 - Item 4) Support Assembly with 2 8T8919 Bolts (Illustration 3 - Item 5), 2 8T4223 Washers (Illustration 3 - Item 6), and 2 6V8188 Nuts (Illustration 3 - Item 7).
NOTE: Install the washers to the clamp.
6. Connect the 7I4601 (Illustration 3 - Item 8) to the bottom of the accumulator.
7. Check fluid levels and adjust as required.

631E/633E And 637E Wheel Tractor Scrapers
1. Remove 2 9U1478 Clamps (Illustration 4 - Item 1) and hardware. The clamps and hardware will not be used again.
2. Remove 2 8W3498 Blocks (Illustration 5 - Item 1) from the 8W6068 Support Assembly (Illustration 5 - Item 2). Grind the 8W6068 Support Assembly smooth where the blocks were removed.
3. Make 2 Blocks as shown in Illustration 6.
4. Attach 4 123-0562 Clamps to accumulator (Illustration 7 - Item 1) with 4 8T8919 Bolts (Illustration 7 - Item 2), 4 8T4223 Washers (Illustration 7 - Item 3), and 2 fabricated blocks (Illustration 7 - Item 4). Locate the blocks to the 8W6068 Support Assembly (Illustration 7 - Item 5) as shown. Tack the blocks to the support assembly as shown. Remove clamps and hardware from accumulator, then finish welding the blocks to the support.
5. Reinstall the clamps and hardware to the accumulator and tighten as required.

657E Wheel Tractor Scrapers
1. Remove 2 9U1478 Clamps (Illustration 8 - Item 1) and hardware. The clamps and hardware will not be used again.
2. Remove 2 8W3498 Blocks (Illustration 9 - Item 1) from the 1081861 Support Assembly (Illustration 9 - Item 2). Grind the 1081861 Support Assembly smooth where the blocks were removed.
3. Make 2 Blocks as shown in Illustration 10.
4. Attach 4 123-0562 Clamps to accumulator (Illustration 11 - Item 1) with 4 8T8919 Bolts (Illustration 11 - Item 2), 4 8T4223 Washers (Illustration 11 - Item 3), and the 2 fabricated blocks. Locate the blocks to the 1081861 Support Assembly as shown Illustration 12. Tack the blocks to the support assembly as shown. Remove clamps and hardware from accumulator, then finish weld the blocks to the support.
NOTE: The accumulators should be vertical before tacking the block to the support.
5. After welding, reinstall the clamps and hardware to the accumulator and tighten as required.
