In order to provide a stable operating condition, the machine must be on flat, level ground. The machine must be blocked in order to prevent inadvertent movement.
Install a locking device in order to prevent inadvertent swing of the machine.
The work tool must be supported in order to prevent inadvertent movement. Position the work tool in order to prevent unnecessary climbing and unnecessary bending.
Optimum alignment of the bores will prevent the use of unnecessary force when you install the pins. Never check the alignment of the bores with your fingers. Use the proper tools in order to check the alignment of the bores.
A retaining pin can fly out when the retaining pin is struck with force. The area must be clear of people when you drive retaining pins.
When you strike objects, chips and other debris can fly. Before striking any object, make sure that no one can be injured by the flying debris.
- Rotate the Pulverizer to one side.

- Install the pin (3), the washer (2), and the lynch pin (1) in the tabs on the side of the swivel assembly of the Pulverizer.

- Lower the Pulverizer onto blocks.

- Remove the jumper hoses from the concrete pulverizer. Cap the jumper hoses. Cap the hydraulic fittings on the Pulverizer.

- Remove the pins from the mounting bracket.

- Raise the linkage of the machine away from the Pulverizer.

- If the Pulverizer is stored for a long period of time, apply grease to the pin bores.
- In order to install the Pulverizer, reverse the steps for the removal of the work tool.
