向燃油系统充油来为燃油滤清器注油。 向燃油系统充油也可去除燃油系统中的空气。 当发动机燃油用尽时，要先进行此程序。
注: 在燃油滤清器的定期保养期间，不要拆下燃油滤清器底座上的螺塞 (2) 来释放燃油系统中的空气。 经常拆卸螺塞将导致燃油滤清器底座中的螺纹加速磨损。 这可导致燃油泄漏。 但是，如果发动机的燃油用尽，燃油滤清器基座上的螺塞可用来排除燃油系统中的空气。
- 打开燃油充油泵 (3) 并操作燃油充油泵，直到在燃油充油泵上感觉到了很强的压力并且能听到单向阀发出的卡嗒声为止。 这个程序要充压多次才能完成。 锁止燃油充油泵。
- 系统加压后，发动机起动盘车。
- 如果发动机无法起动的话，应打开燃油充油泵 (3) 重复步骤 1 和 2，以便让发动机起动。
