Note: Apply 8T-9013 Silicone Sealant to the cylinder block. Apply the sealant to the cylinder block face between number 5 and number 6. Also apply sealant between number 25 and number 26. Refer to illustration 2.

(1) Tighten the bolts in the numerical sequence that is shown in illustration 2. Tighten the bolts to the following torque. ... 22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Note: The engine may be equipped with an oil drain plug or the engine may be equipped with a drain valve.

Tighten the drain plug for the engine oil pan to the following torque. ... 34 N·m (25 lb ft)
