Emergency Stop Push Button - Test

Usage:

3618 2MW
Perform this test during engine operation.

    Typical emergency stop button

  1. Press the emergency stop button on the engine's control panel.

    If the protective system is operating correctly, a shutdown will be activated.

  1. To reset the button, turn the button clockwise or pull the button.

    The spring-loaded button will return to the OUT position.

  1. Acknowledge the alarm and reset the control system.

  1. Restart the engine. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for any remaining emergency stop buttons on the vessel.
