The new Special Publication, LEBV1912, "Caterpillar 3600 Diesel Engine Single Cylinder Overhaul Procedure" is available through normal literature ordering channels. This new publication has a small size and this publication is spiral bound. Also, this publication is printed on a special paper that has a plastic coating. This will help resist damage from rough usage, oil, and fuel.
This new publication can be used to help guide the technician carefully through the procedure for overhauling or repairing a single cylinder of the engine. The procedure to overhaul a single cylinder is listed by a sequence of 306 steps. When the sequence is followed, all of the steps that are required for a successful overhaul or repair will be completed.
