- Tighten the nut to the following torque:
Torque ...
40 N·m (30 lb ft) - Tighten the nut again to the following rotation:
Rotation for nut ... 285 degrees ± 15 degrees
(2) End play ... No adjustment
(3) Clutch plate
- New thickness ...
19.050 ± 0.127 mm (0.7500 ± 0.0050 inch)
Note: Once the clutch has been installed on the engine, hit the output shaft sharply on the end. This will relieve any preload due to the resistance of the pilot bearing that is being pressed into the flywheel.
