Reference: A torque sequence for the bolts that mount the flywheel housing to the cylinder block has been added to the specifications for the flywheel housings on these machine engines. This change is shown in the text that follows. This change will be included in the next revision of these manuals.

(1) Apply 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound to the O-ring. Install the O-Ring.

(2) Flywheel housing
(3) Apply 1U-8846 Sealant on the gasket surface of the flywheel housing. Assemble the flywheel housing to the cylinder block and tighten within ten minutes of applying the sealant. Use the torque sequence that is shown in Illustration 3 to tighten the bolts.
