The above modules contain incorrect information regarding replacement of the Electronic Control Module (ECM). A timing calibration must be performed whenever the engine ECM is replaced. A timing calibration must be performed even if you use the "Copy Configuration - ECM Replacement" feature on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).
