1. Proceed to the first Multiple Module Unit (MMU). Place the keyswitch (1) in the Bypass position. Refer to illustration 1 or illustration 2.

(2) Switch (MMU)

2. Connect a computer that is equipped with UPS View to the RS-232/RS-485 port. The RS-232/RS-485 port is located on the Parallel Cabinet Interface (PCI) board on the left panel in the system cabinet. Refer to illustration 3.

3. Select the MMU that needs to be configured. This can be accomplished by turning switch SW1 (2) on the Parallel Cabinet Interface (PCI) board to the corresponding MMU that will be configured. Refer to illustration 3.

4. Apply power to the system.

   Refer to the Start-up procedures for your system.

1. Power up your computer according to the manufacturers recommendations. The UPS View icon (4) will appear on the screen of the computer. Refer to Illustration 4.

2. Double click on the UPS View icon (1) .

The Default Display for UPS View

The software will begin loading. The default display for UPS View will appear. Illustration 5 is the upper portion of the UPS View display that is seen on the screen of the computer.
