The Fuel Transfer Pump on the Unit Injector Hydraulic Pump is Now Serviceable {1256, 1714}

The fuel transfer pump on the 204-4944 Unit Injector Hydraulic Pump Gp is now serviceable. The 218-8172 Fuel Transfer Pump and Mounting Gp is available for the replacement.
The service kit includes the fuel transfer pump and all of the necessary fuel system seals. The kit also includes a special mounting bolt that is used in order to ensure that the unit injector hydraulic pump does not separate during the repair.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1188, "Installation Procedure for the 218-8172 Fuel Transfer Pump and Mounting Group" for information on the replacement of the fuel transfer pump.
