    Select "Trans/Chassis ECM" > "OK".

  1. Select "Trans/Chassis ECM" > "OK".

  2. Navigate to the "Configurable Parameters" screen.

  3. Check the following:

    1. The body liner and tailgate installation status is set to match the machine configuration.

    2. The Machine Modification Weight matches the weight of any additional equipment added to the dump body.

  4. Enter the known weight value into the "Payload Control System Calibration Weigh" box. The known weight can be either:

    1. The weight of the payload calculated using a weighbridge value.

      Weigh the empty machine and record the weight.

      Weigh the machine when fully loaded and record the weight.

      Calculate: Known Weight = loaded machine weight - empty machine weight.

    2. The weight of a test weight greater than 5500 kg (12125 lb).

      To position the test weight, add a mark to the outside of the dump body, at the dimension shown in Illustration 4. Align the center of the test weight to this mark to within +- 200mm (8 inches). Ensure that test weight is central left to right in the dump body.

  5. Select "Service" > "Calibrations".

  6. Select "Payload System Calibrations" > "Start".

    Follow on-screen instructions. Select "OK".

  7. Follow on-screen instructions. Select "OK".

  8. Select "Payload System Loaded Machine Weight Calibration" > "Begin".

    Calibration weight matches what was entered into the "Payload Control System Calibration Weigh" box screen.

  9. Check that the calibration weight matches what was entered into the "Payload Control System Calibration Weigh" box.

    Conditions are met, select "Next".

  10. When set up conditions are met, select "Next".

    "Calibration Successful" message appears. Select "Finish".

  11. Once calibration has successfully completed, the "Calibration Successful" message appears. Select "Finish".

  12. Return to "ECM Summary".

Payload Light Test

Note: Not essential but useful to check correct operation of Payload Lights.

  1. Select Diagnostics then Diagnostic Tests.

  2. Select Chassis/Override Parameters.

  3. Select "Start" then select "Yes" on pop-up screen.

  4. Select Green Payload Lamp Override. Select Change.

    Note: The same procedure can be followed for the Red Payload Lamp functionality.

  5. Select "Flashing" or "On" then select "OK".

  7. Check the Payload Lights and ensure that Green Lamp is either flashing or permanently on depending upon previous Payload Lamp Override selection.

    Payload Green Lamp activated.

  8. Select "Off" then "OK".

  9. Select “Yes” to return the lamp to the default off position.

  10. Repeat previous steps for Red Payload Lamp Override.
