E085 Engine Shutdown Overridden
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following condition:
- The input for the override switch that is used to override an engine shutdown is connected to the − Battery terminal.
System Response:
The event is logged in memory. When the input for the override switch is connected to the − Battery terminal all shutdowns that are caused by the engine monitoring system are overridden.
Note: If a shutdown occurs there may not be enough warning to override the shutdown before the engine stops. The override switch will enable the operator to restart the engine regardless of the engine shutdown condition.
Normal power
- This event indicates that the override switch has been activated.
Test Step 1.
- No troubleshooting is required.
