  1. Open cover assembly (1).

  2. Remove diesel exhaust fluid cover (2).

  3. Remove expansion device (3). Use Tooling (A) to remove diesel exhaust fluid filter (4).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install diesel exhaust fluid filter (4) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten cover (2) to a torque of 20 ± 5 N·m (177 ± 44 lb in).
