Water Temperature Regulator - Remove and Install

Usage:

335F FEP

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Open hood (1).

  3. Loosen clamp (3) and disconnect hose (2).

  4. Remove bolts (4) and water temperature regulator housing (5).

  5. Remove water temperature regulator (6).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install water temperature regulator (6) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 22 N·m (195 lb in).
