Thermocouples
The 285-6670 Pyrometer is designed to operate with standard type K thermocouples. The thermocouples may be grounded or ungrounded. However, ungrounded thermocouples are recommended, when possible.
Any unused inputs for the thermocouples must be shorted. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Unused Channels" in the Testing and Adjusting, "Wiring" topic for additional information.
