- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a container for storage or disposal.

Illustration 1 g00762839 - Disconnect oil lines (2) and (3) from pump (1). Plug and cap the oil lines and the pump in order to prevent oil loss and contamination.

- Remove the flange and tube (13) from the engine oil cooler bonnet.

- Remove bolts (15).
- Remove engine oil pump (14). The weight of the engine oil pump is approximately
39 kg (86 lb) .
