(1) Engine oil cooler core
Note: The baffle on the engine oil cooler core must face the front of the engine.
(2) Stud
Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the first three threads of the studs in the cylinder block.
(3) Bolt
- Tighten the bolts that fasten the oil cooler cover to the cylinder block to the following torque. ... 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
(4) Flange for the oil cooler lines
(5) Nut
- Tighten the nuts that fasten the oil cooler lines to the engine oil cooler to the following torque. ... 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
(6) Nut
- Tighten the nuts that fasten the oil cooler cover to the cylinder block to the following torque. ... 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
(7) Cover
Apply 3S-6252 Sealant to the mating surfaces of cover (7) and the cylinder block before installation.
(8) O-ring seals
Install new O-ring seals on the flanges of the engine oil cooler core.
