New Turbocharger Compressor Cover is now Available {1052}

- 3126 (S/N: 6SR1-UP)
- 3126 (S/N: 8NM1-UP)
Sometimes, turbocharger whine can be excessive on certain 3126 marine engines. A new 187-4443 Compressor Cover is now available for 385 HP and 420 HP marine engines. This new compressor cover has a special machined baffle in the inlet. The new compressor cover will decrease the noise that is produced by the turbocharger.
The old turbochargers for these two ratings have been cancelled and replaced by new turbochargers. These new turbochargers include the new baffled compressor cover.
