Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Separate the upper frame from the undercarriage frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Upper Frame and Undercarriage Frame - Separate".

1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to swing gear and bearing (1) .

2. Remove bolts (2). Remove swing gear and bearing (1). The weight of swing gear and bearing (1) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

3. Remove tray (3) .

1. Position tray (3). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to swing gear and bearing (1) and position swing gear and bearing (1). The weight of swing gear and bearing (1) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

   Note: Position Mark (S) on the swing gear so that Mark (S) is on the left side of the lower frame with the lower frame in the forward position.

2. Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 80 ± 15 N·m (59 ± 11 lb ft).

End By: Connect the upper frame to the undercarriage frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Upper Frame and Undercarriage Frame - Connect".
