Description of Change: A new shaft seal and a new screen is available for the front axle on some of the wheeled excavators. The new shaft seal has improved sealing capabilities. The new screen increases the durability of the seal.
Adaptable To: The 229-2712 Shaft Seal replaces the 9R-6997 Seal and the 229-2711 Screen replaces the 9R-6954 Cover Plate .
Both new parts are adaptable to the above machines.
