Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the gerotor motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".
- Remove bolts (1) .

- Remove cover plate (2) from ring gear (3) .
- Remove thrust washer (4), spline (5), sun gear (6), and two planetary gears (7) .

- Attach Tooling (A) .

- Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A) .
- Remove bolts (8) .

- Remove hub (9) from ring gear (3). The weight of hub (9) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).
- Bend the tab on lockwasher (11) .

- Use Tooling (B) in order to remove spanner nut (10) .
- Remove lockwasher (11) and washer (12) .
- Use Tooling (C) in order to remove shaft (13) .

- Remove bearing cone (14) .
- Remove seal (15) .
