Swing Motor - Install

Usage:

Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before installation, all components and mating surfaces should be thoroughly clean. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Inspect all gaskets and seals. If any gaskets or seals are damaged or worn, use new gaskets or seals for replacement. All installation procedures should be performed in a clean work area.

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device and a hoist to swing motor (6).

    Note: The swing motor weighs approximately 45 kg (99 lb).

  2. Use the hoist to align swing motor (6) on the swing drive.

  3. Use bolts (8) to secure swing motor (6) to the swing drive.

  4. Connect oil drain hose (7) to swing motor (6).

  5. Connect hoses (5) to swing motor (6).

    Note: Refer to the markings on the hoses when you connect the hoses (5).

  6. Install tubes (4) for the stick on the implement and travel control valve.

  7. Install cover (3) above the implement and travel control valve.

  8. Install hoses (1) for the stick and hoses (2) for the bucket.

  9. Fill the hydraulic system with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".
