Fuel Transfer Pump (Refueling) - If Equipped

Usage:

M318C BCZ

  • Open the left front access door and the left rear access door. Secure both access doors.

      ------ WARNING! ------

      Bodily injury can occur from unexpected contact with open cab doors on machines equipped with a fixed cab riser.

      To avoid injury, close the cab door before climbing onto the rear of the machine.

    1. Remove the fuel tank cap from the top of the fuel tank.

    1. Connect the hose from the fuel pump to the fuel supply.

      Note: The hose is located in the tool box.

    1. Turn the start key to the ON position without starting the engine.

    1. Raise the left console.

      Note: Do not operate the pump without fuel.

    1. Depress the button until the pump is actuated.

      Note: The pump will automatically shut off after two minutes if there is no change in the fuel level. The pump will automatically shut off when the tank is full. The pump will automatically shut off after eighteen minutes of continuous operation.

      Note: Press the button again in order to manually turn off the pump.

    1. Disconnect the hose. Drain the excess fuel from the hose before you store the hose.

      Note: Dispose of drained fluids according to local regulations.

    1. Install the fuel tank cap.

    1. Close the access doors.
