Monitor - Disassemble

Usage:

311C CKE
The following procedure is for the 311C.

The monitor is fabricated precisely. Be careful when you disassemble the monitor. Do not force apart the monitor. Do not allow parts to hit each other.

  1. Remove the monitor panel (8) from the cover for the monitor (7) by completing the following steps:

    1. Disconnect the harness connector.

    1. Remove the 4 tapping screws (9) in the lower surface of the monitor.

    1. Remove 3 screws (10) that secure bracket (11) in the lower surface of the monitor.

  1. Remove 4 tapping screws (5) that secure upper case (1) of the monitor. These screws are located in the back of the monitor panel (8) .

  1. Remove 7 tapping screws (6) that secure the monitor board assembly.

    Note: Lift the monitor board carefully. The monitor board should not be pulled excessively.

  1. Remove two light bulbs (4) on the monitor board assembly (3) by hand. Replace any light bulb that is faulty.

    Note: Turn bulbs (4) completely in order to tighten.

(4) Low fuel level indicator

(5) Battery charge

(6) Engine coolant temperature

(7) Engine oil pressure

(8) One touch low idle indicator

(9) Air heater indicator

  1. Remove the monitor panel (6) from the console. Use the following procedure.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the harness.

  1. Remove the 4 tapping screws (7) on the lower surface of the monitor.

  1. Remove the 4 tapping screws (5) that secure the lower case (1) .

  1. Pull out the inner panel (2) .

Note: Lift the inner panel (2) so that the panel is not damaged.

(4) Bulb

  1. Remove the 8 bulbs (4) on the inner panel (2). Remove the bulbs by hand.

    1. Replace any bulb that is not functioning.

Note: Securely install the new bulb.
