Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the track. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Remove and Install".
2. Remove the front idler and the hydraulic track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler and Track Adjuster - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

1. Remove two bolts (1) and washers from the supports.

2. Remove two supports (2) from the idler.

3. Remove two dust seals (3) from the idler.

4. Remove two snap rings (4) from the idler.

5. Remove two bearings (5) from the idler.

6. Remove shaft (6) from idler (7) .

7. Repeat Step 1 through 6 for the front idler on the other side of the machine.
