Generator Set Load Sensor Caterpillar

Expected Result: All connections are tight. There is a continuity in the wiring.

Results:

• OK: Go to 2.

• NOT OK: Wiring is open and intermittent or connections are loose. Repair wiring or tighten connections. STOP.

1. Remove ground loops. Shield all of the control wiring. The control wiring includes the load sharing line and the SPM-A synchronizer input. Route wiring away from noise source.

   Expected Result: The load sensor is stable.

   Results:

   • OK: The problem has been resolved. STOP.

   • NOT OK: Replace the load sensor. STOP.
