Hydraulic Tank Installation Procedure

1. Fasten Tooling (A) and a hoist to hydraulic tank. Put the hydraulic tank in position on the frame of the machine.

2. Install the four bolts (23) and the spacers that hold it in place. Tighten the four bolts to a torque of 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft).

3. Install P-clamp (22) and bolt (21) that secures it.

4. Connect electrical connector (19), and install wire ties (20).

5. Install hose (18), and tighten hose clamps (17) .

6. Install two electrical connectors (14).

7. Install two hose assemblies (15) and (16).

8. Install plate (13). Install bolts (12), and tighten bolts (11).

9. Install side cover (10) and three bolts (9).

10. Install bolt (8).

11. Install front cover (7) and two bolts (6) that secure it.

12. Install support (5) and three bolts (4) that secure it.

13. Install two bolts (3) that secure the governor motor control to support (5).

14. Install plate (2) and two bolts (1) that secure it.

15. Make sure the drain plug for the hydraulic tank is tight. Tighten the drain plug to a torque of 68 ± 7 N·m (50 ± 5 lb ft).

    Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the proper filling procedure and the proper levels for the hydraulic oil system.

16. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level.

End By: Install the hydraulic filter group. Refer to the hydraulic filter installation procedure.

Hydraulic Filter Installation Procedure

Start By:

1. Install the hydraulic tank. Refer to the hydraulic tank installation procedure.

1. Install the filter in the reverse order of the removal steps.

   Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the proper filling procedure and the proper levels for the hydraulic oil system.

2. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level.
