--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
Description of Change: A new piston spool in the solenoid valve for the low flow attachment improves the performance of the valve. The new design of the piston spool allows smoother movement of the spool piece to prevent the valve from sticking and reduces valve noise.
Adaptable To: Although the 139-6813 Solenoid Valve Group valve design is improved, the part number for the valve is not changed. In order to determine if the valve is improved, refer to the date on the manufacturing plate of the valve.
Look for the manufacturing date on the lower right hand corner of the manufacturing plate. Any low flow attachment valve with a date later than F8HT is the improved valve. The "F" refers to the month (example: A=January, B=February, etc.), and the next number refers to the year (example: 7=1997, 8=1998, etc.). The interpretation of the code, F8HT, is June, 1998.
The low flow attachment valve is located on the right side of the pilot oil manifold, if the machine is equipped with a low flow attachment circuit.
Location for 139-6813 Solenoid Valve (1) in the low flow attachment.
The improved 139-6813 Solenoid Valve in the low flow attachment is effective with M312 (6TL520), M315 (7ML1010), M318 (6ES234, 8AL1510, 8SS4521) and M320 (6WL2091, 9PS242) Excavators.
