测量新发动机的曲轴箱窜气。 记录该数据。 连续定期测量窜气量。 将记录的数据与新的数据相比较可提供有关发动机状况的信息。

注: 曲轴箱窜气是帮助确定整体大修时间间隔的三个因素之一。 有关更多信息,请参阅操作和保养手册, "大修(整体)"专题(保养章节)。

新发动机使用一段短时间后,随着活塞环的磨合落座,会使窜气降低。 窜气将随着下列部件出现磨损而逐渐增加:

  • 活塞环

  • 缸套

注: 活塞环故障会使机油迅速退化。 有关活塞环状况的信息可从窜气量测量和机油分析结果中获得。

一台旧发动机的窜气量可能超过新发动机窜气量的二倍或更多。

窜气突然增加可能表示活塞环断裂。 其他窜气的潜在根源有以下状况:

  • 气门导管磨损

  • 涡轮增压器密封渗漏

翻新发动机可能由于下列因素而窜气量较高:

  • 活塞环尚未正确磨合落座。

  • 磨损零件如气门导管未更换。

窜气过量可能表明需要大修。 通过保持记录窜气量,可以注意到窜气量的逐渐增加,直到窜气量达到过量。

测量窜气量时,使用 8T-2700 窜气 / 气流指示器 。 请参阅专门说明书, SEHS8712, "8T-2700窜气 / 气流指示器总成的使用"。 该说明与工具一起提供。
