  1. Remove clamps (2), clamp (3), and elbow (1).

  2. Remove line (4), and line (5).

  3. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (9). The weight of turbocharger (9) is approximately 72 kg (159 lb).


    NOTICE

    If the turbine housing must be rotated to remove the turbocharger, loosen the V-band clamp only enough to allow for rotation (typically 7-10 turns). If the V-band clamp is loosened excessively, the housing may contact the turbine wheel and cause damage. Contact with the housing may cause rapid wear and shorten turbocharger life.


  4. Remove line (7).

  5. Remove clamp (6), clamp (8), and clamp (11).

  6. Remove bolts (10), and turbocharger (9).

  7. Remove seal (12).

  8. Repeat steps 1 through steps 7 for the remaining high-pressure turbochargers (9).
