Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the axle housing and the wheel flange.

1. Remove retaining ring (1) and ring gear hub (2) from ring gear (3).

2. Remove seal (4) from wheel flange (7). Use Tooling (B) and a suitable hammer in order to remove bearing cup (5). Remove spacer (6). Use Tooling (B) and a suitable hammer in order to remove bearing cup (8).

3. Remove bearing cone (9) and seal (10) from pin assembly (11). Repeat for the other pin assembly.

4. Remove seal (12) from knuckle (13).

5. Remove bearing cone (14) from knuckle (13).
   Show/hide table

6. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable hammer in order to remove the bushing from knuckle (13).
