Description of Change: A new hose assembly in the power train oil lines group is now used on the machines listed above. The new hose assembly will improve the service life of the engine rear gear train lube supply line in the power train oil lines group.

The new 469-0824 Hose As replaces the former 358-7193 Tube As in the 358-7201 Power Train Oil Lines Gp

The new 469-0824 Hose As is adaptable to machines KKJ1-277.

The new 469-0824 Hose As is effective with machines KKJ278-UP.

Use the following rework procedure in order to update to the 469-0824 Hose As on the above adaptable machines:

  1. Remove 7N-3718 Clip (A) and 358-7193 Tube As (B) from 358-7201 Power Train Oil Lines Gp. Discard all parts. Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Remove the 6V-8397 O-Ring Seal (E) from the 6V-8723 Elbow (C). Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Remove 339-0078 Adapter (F), 6V-8724 Elbow (G), 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal (H), and 6V-8397 O-Ring Seal (E). Save adapter (F) and elbow (G) and discard all other parts. Refer to Illustration 3.

  1. Temporary disconnect hose (S) from the torque converter housing. Discard the existing O-ring. Remove 6V-0852 Dust Cap (J), 164-5567 Quick Disconnect Coupler As (K), 165-4931 Elbow As (L), and 9W-1686 Spacer (M). Discard all parts. Refer to Illustration 4 and Illustration 5.

  1. Install new fitting assembly (1), elbow (2), O-ring seal (3), and O-ring seal (4) to spacer (5). Refer to Illustration 6.

  1. Install spacer (5) to torque converter housing using O-ring seal (14) and connect power train hose (S) using new seal (14). Refer to Illustration 7.

  1. Install adapter (F) that was saved in Step 3 with O-ring seal (6) to spacer (5). Assemble 6V-8724 Elbow (G) that was saved in Step 3 using seal (15). Refer to Illustration 7.

  1. Install new hose assembly (8) with new O-ring seal (3) to elbow (G). Refer to Illustration 7.

  1. Secure new hose assembly (8) using two clips (9), two clips (10), two bolts (11), four hard washers (12), and two nuts (13) as shown in Illustration 8.

  1. Install hose (8) to elbow (C) using new seal (3) as shown in Illustration 9.

  1. Secure new hose assembly (8) using clip (9), bolt (11), two hard washers (12), and nut (13) as shown in Illustration 9.

  1. Start the machine and ensure no leaks.

    Note: After new lube line is installed check the fluid levels.
