- Prepare the machine for maintenance. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Prepare the Machine for Maintenance".
- Shutdown and de-energizing the machine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Electrical Shutdown and Voltage Discharge".

- Use Tooling (B) to remove nuts (2).
Note: Do not remove two of nuts (2) at Locations (X) to retain the tire and rim.

Note: Due to different rim and tire configurations, the actual weight for tire and rim (3) may vary significantly. The weight of tire and rim (3) is likely to exceed
7711 kg (17000 lb) . - Use Tooling (B) to remove the two remaining nuts (2) from Locations (X).
- Remove tire and rim (3).
- Install tire and rim (3) in the reverse order of removal.
- Use Tooling (B) to tighten nuts (2) to a torque of
3100 ± 350 N·m (2286 ± 258 lb ft) .
Note: Before the tires and the rims are installed, thoroughly clean the wheel studs. Remove any paint, debris, or other contaminants.
