(1) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the three bolts prior to assembly.

(2) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the threads of the two nuts prior to assembly.

(3) Apply Loctite 609 Retaining Compound to threads of the nut prior to assembly.

(4, 5) Ensure that there is no space between the bearing and the nut.

(6) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the two bolts prior to assembly.

(7) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the threads of the two nuts prior to assembly. Torque for the two nuts ... 15 ± 3 N·m (11 ± 2 lb ft)

(8) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the three bolts prior to assembly.

(9) Apply Loctite Graphite 50 Anti-Seize to the two bolts prior to assembly.

(10) 8C-3442 Coil Spring

Length under test force ... 57.9 mm (2.28 inch)

Test force ... 71.2 ± 5.8 N (16.00 ± 1.30 lb)

Free length after test ... 50.3 mm (1.98 inch)

Outside diameter ... 17.48 ± 0.25 mm (0.688 ± 0.010 inch)
