PROBLEM
Certain 2566453 and 2566454 Temperature Sensors may fail if placed into service. |
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect all 2566453 and 2566454 Temperature Sensors in dealer parts stock. Improvements have been made to 2566453-04 (change level 04) and 2566454-03 (change level 03) Temperature Sensors and are good sensors. Mark the sensor's package as inspected per this program and place the sensor back into dealer parts stock. Remove the following temperature sensors from dealer parts stock: 2566453 and 2566454 Temperature Sensors that have a date code of 01 June 2017 or older from dealer parts stock. This is the same as change level 01, 02, and 03 for 256-6453. This is the same as change level 01, and 02 for 256-6454. Image 1 shows the change level and the date code for the temperature sensor. The Circle shows the change level. The Box shows the date code. DDDYY This sensor shows that it is a change level 03 that was built on day 053 in 2016. This example would be removed from dealer parts stock. |
