785G Off-Highway Truck Caterpillar


Stopping the Engine if an Electrical Malfunction Occurs

Usage:

785G RTL
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. If the engine does not stop, perform the following procedure.

  1. Engage the parking brake.

    (1) Engine Shutdown Switch

    Note: The engine shutdown switch (1) is on the lower right front side of the machine on the bumper.

  2. Dismount the machine. Raise the guard and locate engine shutdown switch (1).

  3. Move the toggle switch up to the OFF position in to stop the engine.

Note: Do not operate the machine again until the malfunction has been corrected.
