C1.5 and C2.2 Engines for Caterpillar Built Machines Caterpillar

Customer Specified Parameters

Usage:

CB-22B 2B2
Customer specified parameters allow the engine to be configured to the exact needs of the application.

Customer parameters may be changed repeatedly as operational requirements change.

The following information is a brief description of the customer specified parameters. The following parameter values are included with the descriptions:

  • Minimum

  • Maximum

  • Default

Speed Control

Low Idle Speed

The "Low Idle Speed" is the minimum engine rpm. The low idle speed is dependent on the engine rating.

High Idle Speed

The "High Idle Speed" is the maximum engine rpm. The high idle speed is dependent on the engine rating.

Engine Acceleration Rate

This parameter determines the acceleration rate when the throttle is increased.

Table 1
Value  Default
0 to 2000 rpm/sec  1000 rpm/sec

Engine Speed Decelerating Ramp Rate

This parameter determines the deceleration rate when the throttle is decreased.

Table 2
Value  Default

Remote Torque Speed Control Enable Status

The Remote Torque Speed Control Enable Status parameter controls the type of remote TSC input. If this parameter is "Enabled", the ECM expects a continuous signal from TSC1. If this parameter is "Disabled", the ECM does not expect a signal from TSC1. However, if a signal is transmitted, the ECM will respond.
