The automatic lubrication system consists of two systems. The two systems are the electrical system and the lubrication system. The electrical system turns the automatic lubrication system on and off at periodic intervals. The lubrication system controls the flow of the lubricant to the bearings.

The automatic lubrication pump dispenses lubricant to the primary lubrication distribution valve assemblies. The primary lubrication distribution valve assembly distributes the lubricant to the secondary lubrication distribution valve assemblies. The secondary lubrication valve assemblies dispense lubricant to the lubrication points at the bearings. Lubricant flow through the lubrication distribution assemblies actuates the cycle indicator pins for a visual inspection of proper operation.
