Differential and Bevel Gear (Front and Rear) - Install

- Install Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to yoke (1). The weight of differential housing (3) is approximately
250 kg (550 lb) . - Remove the remaining gasket material from the mating surfaces.
- Clean the inside of the axle housing with clean towels.
- Apply Tooling (D) to the mating surface of the axle housing.
- Install differential housing (3) onto the axle housing.
Note: The dowel pins on the differential housing must line up with the holes in the bottom of the axle housing.
- Install bolts (2) on the differential housing. Tighten bolts (2) evenly to a torque of
270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft) .
