Description of Change: The electric retarder cable group for the machines listed above has been updated with new cable assemblies. The new cables routing from Dynamic Retarding Inverter (DRI) to the Retarding Grid Blower Motor have been shielded and grounded at both the ends. The new shielded cables will contain excessive electromagnetic energy and reduces the noise.

New shielded 390-7882 Cable As (1) replaces the former 310-2126 Cable As in the 284-5807 Electric Retarder Cable Gp .
New shielded 390-7883 Cable As (2) replaces the former 310-2127 Cable As in the 284-5807 Electric Retarder Cable Gp .
New shielded 390-7884 Cable As (3) replaces the former 310-2128 Cable As in the 284-5807 Electric Retarder Cable Gp .

The new shielded cable assemblies are adaptable to machines ERM1-284 and effective in production with machines ERM285-UP.
