New windshield wiper motors, plus extra parts, are now available from parts department for replacement of the former wiper motors. To install the new wiper motors, modification of the motor mounting holes must be made as shown on page 2.
1 Remove the windshield wiper group from the machine (See the Service Manual).
2 Remove the wiper motor assembly from the mounting bracket. NOTE: Before removing the crank assembly, observe the park position and the type of mounting on the motor shaft.
3 Using the new wiper motor as a guide, elongate three existing holes (1) as shown. Make sure the new motor is centered as close as possible in the large hole.
4 Install the new wiper motor; make sure the crank is in the park position and the linkage is installed in the same position as before. Connect the wiring harness.
