Description Of Change: The alternate oil filter element for the transmission oil filter group is now available for the above machines. The new oil filter element is compatible with glycol.
Adaptable To: The new 4T-3133 Oil Filter Element can be used in the place of former 167-2009 Oil Filter Element As for the transmission oil filter group.
Check the former 167-2009 Oil Filter Element As for media degradation. If filter element degradation is found, examine the oil and oil source for the presence of glycol.
Test the oil for the presence of glycol through Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) testing. If the SOS test shows presence of glycol contamination, flush the system and replace the filter element.
The new 4T-3133 Oil Filter Element can be used in the place of former 167-2009 Oil Filter Element As, if glycol contamination cannot be corrected.
The new 4T-3133 Oil Filter Element is adaptable to the machines and effective in production with the machines that are listed in Table 1.
